How to Get Buyers Who Want to Work with You (and Pay You!) Even If the Way Buyers’ Agents Get Paid Changes
Being a buyers’ agent is a total crap shoot, yet the vast majority of agents find themselves constantly rolling the dice, hoping to get paid.
Buying a home is a rite of passage, and there are people who go through the process multiple times throughout their lifetimes. Even if you have a great agent, it can be a stressful process. But the end result is usually worth it, especially if you’ve been dreaming about becoming a homeowner for a long time.
Before you sign the paperwork and receive your keys, however, there are some steps you still need to go through, and none of them is as nail-biting as submitting the offer. While it can be exciting, it’s also a time when you might have some unexpected thoughts racing through your head. Here are some of them:
Seven open houses and probably a hundred hours spent looking online before getting to this point.
This offer makes a lot of sense for them, how could they possibly say no?
If I love this house, then it probably means there are other people who love it too. Ugh, I never thought of it that way before.

It’s just one of those auto-warranty scam calls. So annoying.
OMG. This is it. Fingers, toes, and legs crossed. Let’s do this.
And no matter what happens, try to remember that whatever is meant to be, will be — even in real estate.
